About the Operations Manager Role Manage and co-ordinate NSW operations across Traffic Management and Labour Hire, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable service delivery.
The role operates as part of a national management team within a successful and reputable business.
Role Scope Manage day-to-day NSW operations across traffic and labour services.
Represent the organisation with clients, supervisors, and operational stakeholders.
Ensure service delivery aligns with national systems, standards, and compliance Support workforce capability, consistency, and retention.
Contribute to client retention, client growth and operational improvements.
Responsibilities
1. Operations Coordinate daily operations and workforce deployment.
Maintain visibility of allocations and resourcing (coordination and oversight; not hands-on scheduling).
2. Traffic Compliance (Core Requirement) Manage compliance with legislation, permits, TMPs, SWMS, and site requirements.
Coordinate incident response, investigations, and CAR close-outs.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready traffic and labour compliance records.
3. Client Coordination Operate within IR frameworks relevant to construction and infrastructure.
Manage site-based workforce matters in line with company policies agreements.
Act as a key point of contact between clients, site teams, and internal functions.
Instrumental in securing repeat business from existing clients and conducting business development to bring on new business Requirements/Experience Operational management experience in traffic, labour, or construction services.
Experience working within an industrial relations environment.
Current working knowledge of traffic compliance, permits, TMPs, TGSs, SWMS, incident mgmt.
Comfortable operating on live construction sites and engaging with clients.
Able to work within structured systems and national processes.
Some business development experience would be beneficial Success Looks Like Consistent, compliant NSW operations.
