Job Description
* Lead the national Gaming strategy and performance across ALH Hotels.
* Drive innovation and optimise gaming operations across procurement, design, and player experience.
* Champion responsible gaming, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance excellence
As General Manager – Gaming, you’ll take charge of shaping the future of gaming within our venues. Reporting to the MD Hotels, you’ll lead a high-performing team to deliver a compelling and sustainable gaming offer that resonates with our guests, drives commercial outcomes, and supports a responsible and inclusive approach.
This is a permanent opportunity, with a flexible location across the east coast.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
* Define and deliver ALH’s Gaming Strategy – including digital, in-venue, and social gaming innovation
* Lead national gaming operations and performance, including game selection, machine procurement, and strategic placement
* Partner with our Venue teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience
* Partner with internal teams including Regulatory & Financial Crime, Technology, Commercial, Compliance, and Legal to align gaming operations with wider hotel strategy
* Oversee commercial outcomes and full P&L for the Gaming business
* Lead a talented team, building a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and accountability
* Leverage insights and data to drive category performance and decision-making
Qualifications

You’re a strategic and experienced leader in the gaming industry with a track record of success. You will bring:
* Extensive experience leading Gaming functions across multi-site operations
* Deep understanding of the gambling market and game mechanics
* Proven leadership and coaching capability, driving performance in complex, changing environments
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, with P&L accountability
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills, including managing cross-functional stakeholders
* Passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Current Responsible Service of Liquor and Gaming competency card, relevant to the state you live in
* Experience leading transformation and change initiatives
