The Position:
1. Manage assigned savings projects ‘end to end’ with key stakeholder management to ensure successful implementation
2. Compile analytical data and solutions to inform the Category Manager of the potential project saving strategies
3. Assist with a procurement process review and provide recommendations for change
4. Execute the tendering and negotiation of designated services in a cost effective and timely manner
5. Proactively communicate and educate supply chain partners on ISS and account specific processes and systems to achieve
6. Foster long term relationships with third party vendors to strategically manage supplier contracts, resolving disputes and any vendor related issues that may need attention
7. Actively collaborate to drive Social Procurement initiatives across projects and operations to generate social benefits such as increasing contracting opportunities for Social enterprises and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and businesses.
8. Assist team to implement and deliver global/regional supply chain KPIs
9. Continuously monitor and report on the risk and control environment in compliance with relevant regulatory, industrial legislation, contractual obligations and controls and in accordance with agreed policies, standards and procedures

Our ideal Candidate:
15. Min 5 years’ experience using procurement methodologies to drive cost savings.
16. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time along the Eastern Seaboard.
17. Experience leading projects or transitions with large matrix cross functional teams.
18. Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – preferably IBM Trirega.
19. Experience implementing an end-to-end category project from idea inception to business implementation.
20. In depth analysis experience using multiple data sources to explore and agree a baseline and promote procurement savings.
21. Evidence using influencing and negotiation skills to gain stakeholder approval in project execution.
22. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with difficult stakeholders and conflict management.
23. Well-developed time management and organisation skills with the ability to deal with multiple issues, pressures and deadlines concurrently.
24. Flexibility for the completion of urgent projects beyond agreed working hours.
25. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Criteria:
27. Tertiary qualification in a business related discipline.
28. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project.
29. CIPS qualified or working towards completion.
30. Subcontractor Category Management experience in Facilities Management and/or Financial Services Sector.
31. Digital procurement experience with a leading P2P platform.
