Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mandurah, WA, for a Speech Language Pathologist. The professional in this role will assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for individuals with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders. Daily responsibilities include creating and implementing therapy strategies, collaborating with families and caregivers, and providing interventions across diverse community settings such as schools, homes, and childcare centers. The role also involves liaising with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Speech Therapy and managing speech-related disorders
* Experience with Dysphagia assessment and treatment
* Expertise in identifying, assessing, and working with Communication Disorders
* Comprehensive knowledge of Language Disorders and effective therapeutic interventions
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Registration with the relevant professional association and eligibility for practicing in Australia
* Ability to adapt therapy approaches to various environments, including homes, schools, and community contexts
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations
* Prior experience in pediatric or family-centered therapy is advantageous
