Hazrad Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to support daily operations at our Wattleup facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing Industrial Services, Waste Collection, and facility activities, including Skip, Hook and Vac fleet operations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key part in driving safety, compliance and operational performance.

The Role
As the Operations Supervisor - Industrial Services & Waste Management you’ll play a key leadership role by:
* Coordinating & leading Daily pre-starts and fit-for-work processes
* Coordination of crews, fleet and equipment
* Skip, Hook & Vac fleet readiness
* Waste facility compliance and documentation
* Dangerous Goods and Controlled Waste requirements
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising operators both in the yard and onsite
* Conducting job audits and spot checks
* Ensuring vehicle pre-starts and defect reporting are completed
* Coordinating repairs and maintenance with the Branch Manager
* Daily scheduling of staff, resources and equipment
* Maintaining site manifests and waste receival documentation
* Supporting development and implementation of SWMS
* Monitoring PPE and consumables stock
* Participating in the Emergency Response Team when required
This role is primarily yard-based with regular interaction across crews and fleet.
About You
You may already be an Operations Supervisor, or a senior operator/leading hand ready to step up.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* Experience in waste, industrial services, transport or heavy industry
* Exposure to Dangerous Goods and/or Controlled Waste environments
* Confidence supervising crews and coordinating daily operations
* Strong safety focus and attention to compliance
* Practical, hands-on leadership approach

* HR Licence
* Forklift (High Risk)
* White Card
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space
Highly Regarded:
* Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
* Controlled Waste Licence
* Experience with Skip, Hook or Vac fleet operations
* Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card
