Key Role Summary
We seek a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to join our team, providing exceptional care to patients in a Dementia Management Unit and Geriatric Evaluation and Management ward.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading clinical excellence, mentoring staff, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Ward Leadership Team in achieving excellent patient outcomes.
* Mentor nursing staff to achieve high standards of patient care and develop their professional skills.
* Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care that meets the needs of patients and families.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and patient- and family-centred care.
Qualifications:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Post-graduate qualification or relevant clinical experience in a related specialty.
* Demonstrated expertise in effective communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution abilities.
