Business Development Manager role with Bridgit, a finance/start-up environment, based in Sydney, NSW, AU. This is a Bridgit position and not a Hatch employee role.

Bridgit focuses on activation—engaging brokers, educating them on our products, and driving business growth through persistence and strong relationships.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager (desk-bound), you will manage broker portfolios, enhance engagement, and drive new business opportunities. You will be responsible for activating brokers, educating them on products, and maintaining a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Over the First 6-12 Months, You Will
* Manage and monitor assigned broker portfolios through various channels to provide exceptional service.
* Develop a deep understanding of products, policies, and loan structuring to offer informed guidance.
* Discuss loan scenarios and structures with mortgage brokers.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our network.
* Increase broker utilization through engagement and education.
* Efficiently manage tasks and undertake additional duties as directed by management.
* Demonstrate experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services.
* Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Show persistence and determination to engage brokers and drive activation.
* Maintain a positive, proactive attitude with initiative.
* Apply problem-solving and collaboration skills with attention to detail.
* Thrive in a high-performing team and deliver high-quality work.
