Support clients' return to work and life after injury as part of a dedicated allied health team in APM's two-year Graduate Program.
Your role
Responsibilities
* Providing initial assessment, psychometric testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment
* Performing new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support
* Conducting initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment
* Assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities and completing psychological functional assessments
* Assessing and making recommendations on effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work
* Writing detailed case notes and reports
* Working with veterans to support their psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work goals
* Providing Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support clients' rehabilitation
* Working with adult clients from varying socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality backgrounds
