About The Role
This exciting role will see you work within the Get Active New England Falls Prevention Service, where you will provide clients with short term support to reduce their falls risk and promote a healthy aging lifestyle. You will conduct home based assessments and intervention for clients aged over 65 (or aged 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients) through the My Aged Care system.
You will work two days per week, with the flexibility to choose which days. The location for this role is negotiable across the New England region.

Get Active New England is a falls prevention service funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). Our aim is to enhance the wellbeing of our clients, through improving strength and balance to assist in maintaining independence and promoting an active lifestyle. About You
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and organised, with high level time management and communication skills. You should be a team player, with a passion for falls prevention and working with the elderly.
Requirements
* Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
* Current unencumbered NSW Driver's licence and ability to drive longer distances (up to 300km round trip) for service provision.

* * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive.
