About the Role:
As our Short Order Cook, you'll be responsible for whipping up delicious meals efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards. You'll work in a fast-paced, community-focused café, ensuring a smooth kitchen operation and great customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch menu items.
* Work efficiently in a busy kitchen, ensuring fast service times.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Assist with food prep, stock control and keeping the kitchen clean.
* Collaborate with the café team to create a welcoming dining experience.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in short order or café cooking.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* A strong understanding of food safety regulations.
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Availability for flexible shifts, including mornings and weekends.
