We're looking for a permanent, full-time Senior Payroll Officer who enjoys being hands‐on, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to help improve how payroll is delivered across our organisation. As our Senior Payroll Officer, you'll deliver accurate and timely payroll services across Vertaview Group, collaborating with a dedicated team to strengthen governance and continuously improve payroll processes. This is a hands‐on role in a manual payroll environment, with opportunities to contribute to future system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Process approved payroll adjustments efficiently
* Handle employee onboarding via HCM and payroll systems
* Process terminations, including redundancy payments
* Manage, reconcile and remit PAYG to the ATO in line with internal deadlines
* Contribute to salary packaging processes with multiple providers
* Maintain and reconcile leave entitlements as required
* Reconcile monthly superannuation in line with legislative requirements
About You
* Demonstrated knowledge of business systems and processes, with a focus on high‐volume payroll processing
* Experience interpreting awards
* Familiarity with Payroll Metrics and UKG Dimensions is advantageous
* Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and engagement skills, supported by sound judgement, active listening and a respectful, open communication style

What Do You Need to Apply?
* Previous practical payroll experience
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) — or willingness to obtain
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card) — or willingness to obtain
* NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate (or willingness to complete via the NDIS Commission portal)
* A recent Police Check (within the last three months)
