**Position Overview**:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a vital role in our finance department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable using _SAGE_ software. Your primary objective will be to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while adhering to company policies. This position begins as a temporary contract, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance!
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Processing and coding of invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Addressing payment queries from suppliers
- Ensuring timely payments of invoices
- Conducting weekly payment runs
- Adhering to internal compliance standards
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting tasks
**Your Profile**:
- Previous experience in accounts payable
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Knowledge of SAGE software preferred
