On Q Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in animal health to recruit an Analytical Chemist to join their team on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing pharmaceutical operation supporting product validation, testing and technology transfer activities.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will perform analytical testing using HPLC and UPLC, support method validation and assist with new product transfers in collaboration with Research and Development. You will also contribute to routine quality testing and help ensure compliance with site and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct analytical testing using HPLC and UPLC to support product validation, release and stability studies
* Assist with method validation, troubleshooting and development
* Support product transfers by preparing protocols, reports and validation documentation
* Collaborate with R&D, Quality and Production teams to meet project timelines
About You:
* Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science or any other relevnat fild.
* 1–3 years' experience in an analytical or QC laboratory environment
* Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC (GC experience highly regarded)
* Understanding of basic statistics
* Strong documentation, communication and teamwork skills
* Method development and troubleshooting experience desirable
* Previous experience working in a GMP environment is not essential for this role.
