Excitation Sales Manager - Asia Pacific
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will plan and implement the sales strategy for the Excitation business, aiming to meet qualitative and quantitative targets for systems, products, and services. You will lead the sales efforts in your assigned market, exceeding targets through high performance to ensure customer satisfaction. The work model is hybrid.
This role contributes to the Excitation business line within the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB Australia. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Creating sales plans in coordination with sales teams.
2. Identifying market opportunities and supporting market penetration efforts.
3. Analyzing customer needs and competitor offerings.
4. Ensuring effective marketing and communication of our value proposition.
5. Supporting sales and customers in selecting technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in sales and marketing of solutions/services in energy, power generation, utilities, etc.
- Existing network and market knowledge.
- Experience in excitation systems sales is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English and strong negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
