The Role
As a Feed Truck Driver, you'll work collaboratively with our farming teams in a stunning outdoor setting, ensuring our prawns receive their vital feed. No prior aquaculture experience is required—we value your transferable skills and provide full on-the-job training. This is your chance to contribute to sustainable seafood production at Australia's largest prawn farm while enjoying a unique coastal lifestyle.
Both day shift (6am – 6pm) and night shift (6pm – 6am) roles are available.
This is a full-time contract position concluding in April/May 2026, operating on a 2/2/3 roster (working 7 shifts per fortnight).
Responsibilities
* Operate feed trucks to distribute feed to feeders across our vast network of ponds.
* Prepare and manage feed quantities accurately and efficiently.
* Use tablets and apps for data recording and operational tasks.
* Collaborate with farming teams to support prawn growth and health.
* Adhere to safety protocols and uphold our Zero Harm culture.
Role Requirements
* A current C-class manual driver's licence.
* The ability to work confidently in challenging conditions, including in and around water.
* Reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to follow instructions precisely.
* A commitment to working the full season on a 2/2/3 roster.
* Must have reliable transport and the legal right to work in Australia.
* Desirable: MR Licence or higher, High Risk Licence (LF), Forklift Licence (LF), or night shift experience.
Role Offerings
* Full-time contract position until end of April/May 2026.
* Competitive hourly rate with an additional $360 per fortnight (pro-rata) prawn farming allowance
