Applications are invited from innovative and dynamic Christian teachers qualified to teach HASS in Years 7 - 10. This is a part-time (0.40 FTE) position starting in Term 1, ****. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of quality HASS teaching programs in secondary school.
There will be opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
Successful applicant will:

be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry.
demonstrate proficiency in the Western Australian Curriculum.
demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills.
demonstrate initiative, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
Deliver lessons in HASS to Years 7 – 10.
Work collaboratively with the HASS Learning Area to produce fair and educative assessments and improve on teaching programs with relation to the needs of current students.
Selection Criteria
Experience teaching HASS to students in Years 7-10.
The capacity to design creative and engaging educational opportunities for students which support their growth as independent and resilient learners.
Experience with ICT skills.
Excellent English oral and written literacy skills.
Organisational and administrative skills.
Experience/ability to teach HASS courses to Year 11 and 12 students would be an advantage.
