Food Services Store person - Casual – Canberra Grammar School
TWG Hospitality Services, one of Australia’s leading premium hospitality operators is proud to partner with Canberra Grammar School. We are seeking a Casual Food Services Store person to assist our catering operations onsite. You will play a vital role in supporting venue operations by ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling and distribution of goods across the venue
This role is on a casual basis Monday to Friday with approximately 25hrs a week
The Role
As Food Services store person, you will
* Manage daily deliveries, ensuring goods received meet quality standards and are stored in a safe manner
* Record and monitor food storage temperatures in accordance with food safety standards
* Maintain stock integrity through correct rotation, storage and levels
* Assist with twice weekly deliveries to an offsite venue
Please note, a valid driver’s license is required for this position
About You
* Understanding of food storage requirements, critical temperature points and safe handling practices, with the ability to identify and escalate discrepancies.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to food quality and safety standards
* Flexibility, attention to detail and accuracy with checking orders
