We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Serology group at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza (WHOCCRRI), VIDRL. The Serology group currently is responsible for the propagation, identification and antigenic analysis of influenza viruses.
**About you**:
Your skills will include:
- Cell culture of mammalian cells
- Virus isolation (specifically influenza)
- Haemagglutination assays
- Familiar with use of robotic equipment
- Maintaining stocks of common consumables for the serology group
- Ordering of consumables and reagents for the entire Centre
- Maintaining Centre equipment as allocated and as required.
- Keeping accurate laboratory records both on the Centre database and hard copies as required
- Working cohesively with other members of the Serology group
