1x Swimming Teacher - Band 3 Salary $ $34.14 per hour plus superannuation
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Aquatic Program Officer/teacher to join our Aquatic Program team at Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre.
Aquatic Program Officers (APO) are our key staff who deliver exceptional service to our Program members and support to our teachers. Aquatic Program Officers will have a thorough understanding of our program and/or willingness to learn.
The successful applicants will possess:
* Exceptional customer service skills
* High level computer skills
* Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to the above, the successful applicants will also need to be available to work a range of shifts within our program operating times but specifically:
* Tuesday 8.30-3pm(APO)
* Thursday am (APO)
* Monday am (Swim teaching)
* Wednesday Swim teaching)
Additional shifts can be picked up.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
* Qualifications and experience as listed in the Position Description
* Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values
* Experienced in teaching a wide range of age groups and abilities in addition to experience in supervising the program delivery.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience as an active member of a positive team culture where peers are supported, and programs are delivered with enthusiasm and pride.
* Demonstrate ability to implement, monitor and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate time management, planning, and organisational skills within the busy and fast-paced environment.
