About the Role
Due to exciting new business growth, Comstar Systems has a position available for experienced and enthusiastic Field Supervisor (Technical Rigger) to work with our South Australia team. This role will oversee projects as delegated by the National Project Manager to supervise site-level project activity on time and to budget and ensure that all projects are carried out according to QEHS regulations, organizational and client process requirements.
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Tertiary or Diploma qualifications in Telecommunications or similar discipline and a Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Ticket
Extensive knowledge of mobile communications, broadband, broadcasting and other applications of general communications.
Demonstrated experience in planning, installation and commissioning of communications projects.
Strong supervisory and communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Sound knowledge and experience in upholding industry and QEHS standards.
Currently hold appropriate licenses and certifications including Manual Driver's License, First Aid, CPR, Working at Heights and Tower Rescue and willing to obtain Forklift license.
Availability to travel intrastate and/or interstate as required.
Permanent Australian residency or legal entitlement to work in Australia.
Applicants with specific experience in Telstra 5G, Optus and NBN are highly desirable.
