Rocket Academy is on a mission to inspire the next generation of creators and innovators. We're looking for enthusiastic educators to deliver fun, hands-on LEGO coding and robotics classes for primary school students in afterschool and weekend programs. This is a great opportunity for university students or early-career educators who love working with children, have a passion for STEM, and want flexible, rewarding work. What You'll Do
* Lead engaging coding and robotics classes using LEGO kits and Scratch coding
* Inspire curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving through inquiry-based learning
* Make every class both fun and educational, building confidence in students
* Prepare, deliver, and support lessons with provided curriculum
* Ensure kits and devices are maintained and ready for each session
* Act as a positive role model and mentor for young learners
What We're Looking For
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) – required
* A car and valid driver's licence – essential for travel to schools and venues (Werribee, Point Cook)
* Background in working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring)
* Ability to engage and motivate students in a group setting
* Knowledge or interest in STEM, coding, or robotics – highly regarded
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and comfortable facilitating interactive lessons
