This position will work across the various Council administration and customer service centers in response to operational needs, supporting a wide range of enquiries and services while contributing to Council's commitment to high quality service delivery.
Additionally, you'll also …
* Deliver an exceptional level of customer service to all customers of Council, both internal and external, by effectively managing customer enquiries, service requests and transactions via a multi-channel customer service centre.
* Manage customer complaints in a proactive and sensitive manner, ensuring the customer is referred to the appropriate department as required.
* Record and input service requests into Council's customer request management systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Conduct administrative tasks to service the Queensland Government Agent Program (QGAP) at the Boonah Customer Service Centre.
About you…
* A Certificate IV in Business Administration or Customer Service or other relevant qualification, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
* Sound knowledge of customer service principles and of the procedural and operational methods of the work area.
* Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle under a C Class Licence.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and to plan and organise work to achieve objectives.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate effectively to provide a positive customer experience.
