Job Overview
This role involves surveying natural gas pipelines and traveling to various locations across the country. The job includes driving an Advanced Mobile Leak Detection (AMLD) vehicle, performing field work, and troubleshooting technology.
Main Responsibilities
* Surveying natural gas pipelines and identifying potential leaks
* Driving an AMLD vehicle to detect and classify natural gas leaks
* Performing field work in various weather conditions and environments
* Troubleshooting technology as needed
* Working with customers and providing excellent customer service
Requirements
* Frequent travel up to 75% of the time, including occasional weekends
* Ability to fly or drive anywhere in the U.S.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technology
* Able to drive in all-weather conditions
* Adherence to safety and quality policies and procedures
* Able to learn training material and pass qualification tests
Physical Demands
* Able to sit and drive for extended periods
* Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
* Carrying a minimum of 20 lbs. of equipment
