About the Role
Ready to elevate your career in gold? Step into a key role where your expertise drives the core of our operations Genesis Minerals are currently seeking Process Technicians for permanent opportunities to join the team at our Leonora operation, just an hours' flight from Perth, WA.
Reporting to the Process Shift Supervisor, you will ensure safe and efficient operation of the Gwalia Processing Plant in order to achieve production and metallurgical targets. This opportunity is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster. This role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or local residential, the choice is yours
You will also:
* Provide efficient and effective operation of the Gwalia Processing plant
* Contribute to the processing team to ensure that the Processing Department delivers to plan in respect of production, gold recovery and cost per tonne
* Contribute to the processing team with participation in commissioning plant and development upgrades
* Supporting and assisting in the metallurgical process with targets achieved:
* Ensuring all tasks are carried out in an environmentally sustainable manner
About you
You're someone who's curious, collaborative, and self-driven, with a knack for making things more efficient and always looking for ways to improve. You'll bring at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, plus the following:
* Previous demonstrated Process Plant work experience
* Strong ability to work effectively within a team
* Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures
* Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tasks
* High level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals
