The Company


Our client is a market leader in the crane industry, delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality services to major construction projects. With a reputation for excellence in customer service and innovation, they provide complete end-to-end solutions including crane hire, ancillary equipment, servicing, and engineering support.


The Position


This is a pivotal role acting as the central personnel scheduler and labour allocator across multiple construction projects. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to keep projects running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

* Oversee daily operations for approx. 80 onsite employees
* Schedule and allocate personnel across multiple sites and projects
* Manage HR, rostering, payroll input, and compliance documentation
* Support health and safety initiatives, including risk assessments and SWMS
* Conduct site visits to monitor workforce suitability and performance
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Provide operational support to divisional managers where required

The Candidate


To be successful, you'll need proven experience as a labour allocator, scheduler, or operations coordinator within the construction industry. You'll be confident managing competing priorities, highly organised, and able to make quick, effective decisions.

Key requirements:

* Experience in operations, workforce scheduling, or labour allocation
* Background in tower cranes, mobile cranes, or high-rise construction (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of construction industry awards and compliance
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
* Flexibility to work after hours as required
