Position Overview
Fulton Hogan - Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced Project Engineer based in Townsville, Queensland. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will oversee contractor performance and HSEQ compliance, playing a key role in developing and delivering regional projects. This role offers opportunities to gain experience across technical, design, operational, and construction disciplines while fostering a safety-first culture.
Responsibilities
Deliver projects according to contractual obligations and company policies.
Manage client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships.
Handle project management tasks including scheduling, contractual administration, procurement, and technical issues.
Manage financial aspects such as budgets, progress claims, and forecasts.
Conduct risk assessments and site audits to ensure compliance.
Apply best practices in Asphalt and Surfacing.
Candidate Requirements
Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer delivering infrastructure projects valued at $20M, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, strong financial and contractual skills, and a passion for leadership. Flexibility to travel is required.
