This is an opportunity to join a firm without a ceiling. This long-established Queensland law firm is looking to appoint a senior litigator to play a lead role as it continues to grow its thriving, established disputes practice.
The firm already has a significant pipeline of litigation and dispute work generated through long-standing client relationships and referrals across the practice. The opportunity is to step into that platform and take it to the next stage.
The role
This is a senior position (Special Counsel or lateral partner level) for a litigator ready to take on a leadership role.
You will:
* Lead and develop an existing litigation team
* Run complex commercial disputes and strategic matters
* Take ownership of key client relationships
* Help shape the direction and growth of the disputes practice
This role will suit a litigator who enjoys the intellectual challenge of disputes but also wants greater ownership of client relationships and practice development. Importantly, also a litigator who has the right attitude and soft skills – a growth mindset, a team approach and attitude, developed leadership and mentoring skills and excellent client care and relationship abilities.

About you
You will bring 8–15+ years PAE with a background in commercial litigation, disputes or insolvency related litigation.
