Are you a passionate and energetic sales leader ready to take charge of a growing, multi-franchise dealership? We're looking for a dynamic General Sales Manager to oversee both new and used vehicle sales operations at our busy dealership in Geraldton, Western Australia.
This is not a desk-bound role — we're seeking someone who leads from the front, gets involved in the sales process, and is committed to developing and mentoring their team to achieve outstanding results.
About the Role
As the General Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving performance across several well-known automotive brands. You'll work closely with sales staff every day — guiding deal structures, refining sales techniques, and fostering a positive, high-energy culture that delivers results.
This position requires a proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the showroom floor, motivating the team, and leading by example.
What you'll be doing
* Actively lead and participate in daily sales operations across new and used departments
* Coach, train, and develop existing sales teams to enhance performance and customer experience
* Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets for volume, profitability, and CSI
* Work closely with management and OEM partners to execute marketing and stock plans
* Oversee deal quality, valuations, pricing, and presentation standards
* Monitor KPIs and drive accountability through positive leadership
* Build a culture of enthusiasm, teamwork, and customer focus
* Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the wider community
About You
Proven track record as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within a franchised dealership
Highly motivated, energetic, and hands-on leader with a passion for developing people
Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and lead by example
Excellent understanding of dealership processes, stock management, and reporting
Driven to achieve results and continuously improve team performance
A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
