Role Overview
As an External Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for selling Spitwater Queensland's cleaning equipment solutions to wholesale and retail customers. This role combines business development, client relationship management, and achievement of sales targets. You'll report to the National Sales Manager and work both independently and collaboratively to deliver outstanding results.
This is a full-time role based in Rocklea, QLD, with regular travel across the greater Brisbane area and occasional coverage of the Gold Coast. A company vehicle is provided for business use.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors
* Recommend tailored Spitwater solutions based on customer needs
* Promote servicing, accessories, and chemical solutions to enhance equipment value
* Manage leads, opportunities, and pipelines using CRM tools
* Represent Spitwater at industry events and field days
* Monitor customer performance and provide feedback to leadership
* Maintain accurate records and uphold WHS and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
Candidates with previous experience in industrial equipment or B2B sales environments are preferred for this position.
Experience:
* Proven background in sales, account, or territory management
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, account, or territory management roles
* Experience with industrial equipment or small machinery is highly advantageous
* Ability to manage and grow independent or regional retail client relationships
Qualifications:
* Certificate II or III in Retail, Sales, Customer Service (or related field) is preferred (or relevant experience)
* Current unrestricted driver's licence
* Confident using digital tools, CRM (HubSpot preferred), and well-organised in your approach
* Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
