Commercial Opportunities
At Aurora, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team in Tokyo. As a key member of our APAC commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and account management activities for our subscription services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Growth: Qualify and develop sales opportunities through company and product knowledge, researching consumer needs, and identifying how our solutions can meet them.
* Relationship Building: Generate leads and grow existing relationships to develop an active, engaged, and repeat customer base.
* Cross-Selling: Pursue plans to increase account value through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
* Customer Management: Handle negotiations and contracting with our client base, ensuring excellent customer experience and high engagement.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to new product development and improving our existing offerings.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the research and publications team to support the development of our long-term market outlook and analysis.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, account management, or client success.
* Skills: Strong commercial mindset, including creativity and intuition for opportunities that create impact and commercial success.
* Qualifications: Ability to remain calm under pressure and cope with uncertainty, excellent organization skills, and a high degree of persistence and diligence.
* Education: Motivated by achieving tangible individual and team commercial targets, ability to communicate and collaborate with both technically and non-technically minded people.
* Language: Fluency in both Japanese and English.
