The Role
This casual position involves supporting children with complex medical needs, including personal care, specific medical interventions, giving tube feeds, and administering medications.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional conduct are essential for building relationships with children and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
Responsibilities Include:
* Providing care dependent on individualised patient needs as per the parameters in their care plan.
* Supporting children to access activities, education, and community outings.
* Maintaining safety and well-being of the child as outlined in the child-specific training manual and reporting concerns to parents.
A strong ability to complete verbal and written assessments delivered in English is required. Efficient computer skills and accurate data entry abilities are also necessary.
