Overview
We're looking for a skilled Business Analyst on a 6-month max term contract to help us understand, improve, and streamline how our people-related processes work today and shape how they should work tomorrow. This role is central to building a strong foundation for future systems and better ways of working across the organisation. You'll work closely with People & Culture, Technology, and operational teams to map processes, uncover risks and opportunities, and provide insights that support confident decision-making. While the initial focus is on HR processes, there is potential for the role to expand into broader business process improvement over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Map current HR processes end-to-end, including workflows, roles, controls, and system touchpoints.
* Run interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand how work happens in practice.
* Identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Support the design of future-state processes with stakeholders.
* Analyse system usage, integrations, data flows, and risks across various platforms.
* Translate business needs into clear requirements to support an HRIS business case.
* Produce high-quality analysis artefacts, process maps, requirements, gap analyses, impact assessments and workflows.
* Provide data-driven insights to support prioritisation and decision-making.
* Build strong relationships across HR, Technology and the wider business.
* Facilitate workshops and support delivery activities such as testing, readiness documentation and change inputs.
What you'll bring
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
* Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
* Understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practice.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Business acumen and an understanding of how processes support organisational goals.
* 3–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar.
* Experience with BA tools (e.g., Visio or similar).
* HR systems or process experience is a bonus but not essential.
