Westco Motors has an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven and motivated Registration Clerk / Stock Controller to join our professional Administration team.
This is a key role ensuring the accurate processing of new vehicles into stock, effective compliance of registrations, and smooth retailing back to manufacturers. Working closely with the sales and admin teams, you’ll help keep our dealership running efficiently while supporting a busy and dynamic automotive environment.
You will be perfect for this role if you:
- Have proven experience in automotive administration or registration processing (highly regarded)
- Hold or are willing to obtain Queensland Transport Accreditation (highly regarded)
- Are confident with vehicle registrations, transfers, renewals, plate management, and compliance
- Have intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
- Communicate well with colleagues, suppliers, and customers in a professional manner
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new vehicle stock processing, including dealer swaps and invoicing
- Handle vehicle registrations, transfers, renewals, plate cancellations and audits
- Prepare deal pack paperwork, stamp duty declarations, and account reconciliations
- Book car transport and manage compliance documentation
- Assist the sales team with stock management and provide general admin support
- Maintain high accuracy in retailing vehicles back to manufacturers
- Support colleagues, management, and the CFO with administrative tasks
