This full‐time role runs Monday to Friday, between 7:00am and 10:00pm, across our four Canberra clinics: Belconnen, Deakin, Woden, and Tuggeranong.
Role Overview
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check‐in procedures.
* Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
* Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers' compensation, and DVA.
* Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
* Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
* Booking appointments across our four Canberra clinics.
Qualifications
* Clear verbal and written communication skills.
* Solid organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
* Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
* A strong background in customer service.
* Ability to rotate across the four clinics in Canberra as required.
