Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional who can work closely with sales, marketing, and alliance teams to showcase the value of our platform and services. They will drive success in the APAC region by providing expert advice, building tailored demos, and ensuring smooth customer handovers.
Responsibilities
* Be a subject matter expert on advanced analytics and financial management solutions, supporting internal teams and external partners.
* Bring a consulting mindset to every interaction, sharing best practice advice and helping businesses understand how our platform can support their goals.
* Work collaboratively with resellers and implementation partners, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to deliver compelling demos and manage sales cycles effectively.
* Lead conversations around complex topics like CPM, financial consolidations, ETL, data visualisation, GenAI, machine learning, and cloud architecture, making technical concepts accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
* Develop and deliver engaging demos, proof of concepts, and scripts that cater to different audiences and markets.
* Translate customer needs into actionable requirements, clearly communicating technical and business demands to our Professional Services team to ensure seamless handovers post-sale.
* Serve as the voice of the customer internally, sharing valuable insights with Product, R&D, and Marketing to inform the development of our platform.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll require a unique blend of real-world experience, technical expertise, people skills, and curiosity. You should be passionate about solving business challenges, connecting the dots between data and strategy, and communicating ideas effectively across all levels.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a consulting, implementation, business/systems analysis, pre-sales, or financial systems role.
* A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience building reusable solutions, whether in Excel, ETL pipelines, automation scripts, or similar.
* A solid grasp of advanced analytics and financial processes like planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and group reporting—via practical experience or academic grounding.
* The ability to quickly learn new technology and translate its value into business impact.
* Confidence in presenting to technical and non-technical audiences and adapting your approach as needed.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading conversations, facilitating workshops, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
* Full working rights in Australia and the ability to travel internationally from time to time (including to North America).
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, having experience with CPM, EPM, BI, DWH, or Advanced Analytics tools or platforms would be beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with SQL, MDX, and ETL tools/processes, understanding of relational and multi-dimensional databases, exposure to cloud-based SaaS platforms, and broader enterprise architecture would be desirable.
Advanced Excel skills and a love for learning, along with a willingness to explore new problems and find innovative solutions, are highly valued traits.
