Due to our ongoing business growth, we urgently require an onsite Drainer.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, maintain and repair a variety of drainage systems including stormwater, wastewater and sewage systems.
- Significant experience in installing sewerage stormwater, water, gas reticulation infrastructure including the excavation of trenches to facilitate the installation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with drainage systems and implement effective solutions.
- Study blueprints, drawings specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
- Fabricating and installing soil and waste stacks
- Setting out and installing hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment
- Communicate with management regarding all equipment and systems
- Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
- Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical plans and drawings to lay pipe specifications
- Installing water-based fire protections systems including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems
- Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Full commitment to upholding safe work practices.
- Measuring, cutting and joining pipes
- Ensure the work is constructed correctly the first time in line with the technical requirements
- Co-ordinate and organize daily work and provide guidance and supervision to the team.
Skill Level and Experience Required
- Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III including at least two years' experience
- At least three years of full-time work experience is highly relevant and may substitute the formal Qualification. Experience can be local or overseas.
- Extensive Knowledge and years of experience the industry
- High quality workmanship and specialist technical capacity
- Strong time management and communication skills -oral and written.
- Works independently as well as in a team. High standard of workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and develop existing knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
