Job Title
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail store manager to lead our team in achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a small team, with experience in formal and informal reporting, business planning, and performance management within a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and direct a small team to achieve sales targets and KPIs;
* Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction;
* Monitor and control stock levels, manage inventory, and maintain store security;
* Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints, and promote sales through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques;
* Manage cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and other merchant transactions accurately and efficiently;
Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a retail store management role;
* Proven ability to lead, direct, and supervise a small team effectively;
* Experience with formal and informal reporting, business planning, and performance management within a retail environment;
* Strong understanding of sales budgets, store sales targets, and KPIs;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for long periods, carrying heavy objects, and climbing ladders;
