About the Opportunity
The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in reviewing and monitoring the financial performance of contracts. This position requires a strong communicator with advanced interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships within the team and with stakeholders. The role involves utilising technical knowledge of project accounting and driving change within large projects.
Responsibilities
* Deliver value-added services to stakeholders through accurate and timely financial performance and project cost information.
* Provide financial guidance in support of project delivery and decision-making.
* Oversee cost management activities, including variance analysis and reconciliation.
* Compile and deliver data for board and stakeholder reporting.
* Manage invoicing and collection processes.
* Serve as the primary contact for customers on financial matters.
Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK/US time zones) may be required. Periodic domestic and international travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis.
About You
* Proficiency with Power BI from creation to running.
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.
* Full membership in CPA, ICA, or equivalent accounting qualification with significant post-membership experience.
* Experience in financial management.
* Good communicator with strong time management skills.
* Advanced interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Experience in International Financial Management
* Demonstrated ability in financial planning and analysis.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
