The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing workflow, resourcing, overhead, cost control, and business unit profitability. They champion safe work practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Responsibilities & Duties
* Manage recoverable hours versus budgeted hours and allocate workshop resources accordingly.
* Prioritize work to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Report and oversee management of work health and safety incidents and workplace accidents.
* Provide coaching, development, and direction to workshop technicians.
* Manage technician performance and assist in skill development.
* Liaise with Engineering to resolve technical issues and document solutions.
* Allocate work via CMSP to workshop employees.
Skills & Experience
* Management experience in a service environment.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Experience in driving and implementing change.
* Highly organized.
* Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
