Urban Drillingis a specialised Geotechnical & Enviromental drilling contractor based in Geelong. We are a small family owned drilling company with 40 years of experiance in providing drilling solutions to various clients through out Victoria and Australia.
Urban Drillingis currently seeking a Casual Geotechnical / Environmental Drilling Assistant to suport our drillers in the field.
Ideally you will have:
* MR truck license (Manual) or greater.
* Experiance in Construction or related industries,
* Construction Induction card (essential)
* Mechanical knowledge highly advantageous
* Be prepared to work away from home occasionally.
* Be prepared to work in the elements.
* Be flexible with available work hours.
* Rail card, RIW (preferred but not essential)
* Be able to work in a team emviroment.
* Be available for early starts
* Self Starter who is hard working and reliable
* Is resourceful
About the role:
As a casul offsider your daily tasks will be not limited to,
* Cleaning of company equipment
* Assisting in the set up and removal of drilling equipment.
* Maintaining adequate water supply to the drill rigs.
* loading unloading drill rods, acquiring soil or rock samples for our clients.
