**Agricultural Operations Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture to contribute to the success of our operations. As a Farm Operator, you'll play a key role in all facets of our farming operations, from ground preparation to harvest.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate tractors and other farming equipment for planting, cultivation, and harvesting of potatoes.
* Assist with ground preparation, including soil tilling, irrigation setup, and planting.
* Monitor crop health and assist in pest and weed management practices.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
* Support the harvesting process, including operating machinery and ensuring proper handling of crops.
* Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting harvested crops to storage or distribution sites.
* E nsure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations on the farm.
* Keep accurate records of farming activities, equipment usage, and crop yields.
* Collaborate with the farm team to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience operating tractors and farm machinery, preferably in potato farming or similar agricultural environments.
* Strong understanding of farming practices, including soil preparation, irrigation, and crop management.
* Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on farming equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to monitor and maintain crop health.
* Physical fitness and stamina to work long hours in outdoor and varying weather conditions.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Commitment to safety and following all farm safety protocols and guidelines.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
* Previous experience in potato farming is advantageous but not required.
* Chemical Handling Certificate and Forklift licence are essential.
