Embarking on a career as an Account Manager at Hilti is an exciting development journey, especially if you are keen to develop your career in a global company and build a strong business foundation. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, with ownership to build a work schedule that suits you and your customers. Your responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on-site, and providing high-level customer consultation.
We have multiple Account Manager roles in various locations across Queensland.
What does the role involve?
1. Building relationships – meeting with customers daily to identify business opportunities and creating value through long-term, profitable relationships.
2. Time and Territory Management (TTM) – creating a daily schedule that includes visits to job sites and client offices to optimize sales potential by zone territory.
3. Be a Hilti Champion – carrying technical knowledge to present high-level customer consultations and representing the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
4. Tracking your progress – utilizing Salesforce to record interactions and sales activities, as reporting is a key part of the role.
What you need is:
1. Tertiary qualification (highly desirable).
2. Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
3. Eagerness to learn, motivated, and capable of working independently.
4. Hands-on attitude – demonstrating tools, using platforms like Salesforce, and collaborating across departments.
5. Time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
6. Valid full Australian driver's license – company car provided.
7. Engineering qualification or construction industry experience (preferred but not mandatory).
8. Candidates on 485 Temporary Graduate Visas will also be considered.
