We're looking for a customer service rep to work at our auction site in Geelong as a Customer Service Manager. Our Customer Care team are the number-one point of contact for customers and staff, before, during, and after our auctions. This is a site-based role in Geelong, full-time permanent, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
* Be the point of contact for customers and the Territory Sales Manager, driving efficient and smooth execution of sales administrative tasks to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate with internal and external resources to support selling activities across all regional platforms.
* Set up and maintain auction information systems; enter contracts and equipment specifications into the auction system; balance auction results and manage accounts receivable, collections, and banking responsibilities.
* Verify that funds have been collected and process vehicle titles, registrations, and legal transfer documents.
* Build strong relationships with banks, taxation offices, and motor vehicle branches to obtain information and resolve issues.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and overseeing Customer Service Representatives for auctions.
* Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety and ensure a safe working environment for all team members and customers.
What you bring
* 2+ years in a role where you worked in person with customers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computer skills and the ability to master new systems and enter data quickly and accurately.
* Experience with accounts receivable, account reconciliation, sales tax collection/remittance, vehicles or heavy equipment, and DMV document processing is an asset.
* Ability to think quickly and make good decisions in a fast-paced auction environment.
* Love for paperwork with an obsession for detail and accuracy.
* Outstanding people skills — outgoing, diplomatic, patient, and a good listener.
* Ability to work independently with a take-charge attitude and willingness to ask questions.
* Enjoy working hard while having fun on the job.
