**Automotive Apprenticeship Program**
Gain hands-on experience and work toward a nationally recognised qualification in Outdoor Power Equipment Technology.
You will work under the guidance of qualified technicians and learn how to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, generators, and other petrol and battery-powered machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of outdoor power equipment.
* Learn to diagnose faults in two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
* Support with equipment inspections, part replacements, and basic troubleshooting.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the workshop.
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
* Attend and complete all off-the-job training through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
* Demonstrate a strong will to learn and develop new skills.
* Other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
* Genuine interest in small engine mechanics or outdoor power equipment.
* Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
* Ability to work well in a team and take direction.
* Completion of Year 10 (minimum).
