Intermediate / Senior Tax & Business Services Accountant
This is a client-facing role where you will manage your own portfolio and work closely with Directors on complex tax and business advisory matters.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of SME clients
Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
Preparation and review of BAS, IAS and GST
Providing tax advice and business advisory services
Assisting with tax planning, structuring and cashflow management
Liaising directly with clients, ATO and other stakeholders
Reviewing work of junior team members
Identifying opportunities to add value to clients

About you
3–6+ years' experience in public practice (tax / business services)
Strong experience with financial statements, tax returns and BAS
CA/CPA qualified or near completion
Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation
Experience with Xero (essential)
Confident managing client relationships
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Desire to grow into a senior or client manager role
