QRIDA is seeking a strong leader with demonstrated high ability in initiating, developing, and managing business development opportunities, strategies, and activities, including tenders and proposals, through providing consulting services to government and industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities for QRIDA, including program and other service deliveries.
* Leading the design, development, and implementation of government financial assistance programs, including grants and loans.
* Leading the development of legislation and service level agreements to establish new programs and support existing programs.
* Providing expert policy and strategic advice supported by economic and industry analysis to the Executive Leadership Team on issues relating to Queensland's rural and other industries.
* Establishing and managing formal partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Our Role and Purpose
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government, we have been helping primary producers and industries recover from natural disasters, improve sustainability and profitability, start businesses, and overcome difficult conditions for over 30 years.
We administer programs such as the Farm Business Debt Mediation, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a Rural Debt Survey, and provide advice to various ministers.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs across industry sectors and to government entities across Australia.
