The business operates a multi-site manufacturing network and is entering a major growth phase, including equipment upgrades and the development of a new, purpose-built manufacturing facility in Sydney.
This newly created leadership role will oversee operations across multiple sites, providing strategic direction and driving best practice in safety, quality, delivery and efficiency.
Partnering closely with the divisional head, you will help shape the future operating model, lift capability across teams, and support the next phase of sustainable, scalable growth.
Key responsibilities Develop and implement operational strategies for manufacturing and logistics Lead production, quality and distribution activities across sites Monitor KPIs and use data to identify improvement opportunities Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of processes Manage resources, cost control and financial performance Ensure compliance, risk management and a strong safety culture Prepare operational reports for the executive and the board Support customer relationships and partner with commercial teams About you You are an experienced operations leader with a background in manufacturing or industrial environments, ideally heavy engineering or project-based production.
You enjoy solving operational problems, building teams and helping a business scale safely and sustainably.
