Advisor, Design and Implementation
2x full-time permanent positions available.
We're seeking Advisors to join the Design and Implementation team in Commissioning and Service Improvement. We deliver positive change in the justice system for a safe and fair Aotearoa.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
As an Advisor you will provide operational advice about the design options and impacts of new initiatives and contribute to the delivery of updates to processes, information and systems to make those changes work 'on the ground'.
On Any Given Day You Might
* participate in workshops to consider the practical implications of new projects or change proposals
* analyse proposals and identify impacts they might have on how the Ministry delivers services to the public
* support project management and develop and deliver change management activities to prepare our people
* prepare and deliver communications to the judiciary and Ministry staff about upcoming changes
* work with colleagues in other government agencies to implement upcoming changes

Ideally, the skills and experience we are looking for include:
* a sound understanding of how the courts and the wider justice sector operate
* experience in delivering frontline justice services to the public (knowledge of Family Court processes would be an advantage)
* an awareness of Parliament's legislative change process
* excellent verbal and written communication skills
* strong analysis and problem‐solving capabilities
* comfort in working in a fast‐paced environment with a can‐do attitude and ability to independently investigate
* a strong desire to improve the way the NZ public engages with public services

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $74,634 and $95,591 based on skills and experience.
