Summary
We're seeking a driven and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join a boutique lending business. You'll play a key role in expanding broker relationships and driving loan volume across residential, commercial, construction, expat, non-resident and SMSF lending.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a broker BDM / account manager role who thrives in a relationship-driven and target-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively acquire new brokers and referral partners
* Build and manage long-term broker relationships from onboarding through to post-settlement
* Achieve KPIs across broker acquisition, loan volume and account growth
* Liaise closely with internal credit and operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end support
* Provide tailored product solutions and guidance on complex loan scenarios
* Represent the business at industry events and networking functions
* Track market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategy
Successful Candidates Will Have
* Previous experience in a similar BDM, broker, or lending role
* Strong understanding of the Australian lending market
* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
* Driven and self-motivated with a passion for hitting targets
* Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
* Cert IV in Mortgage Broking (required)
* Your own car and full NSW drivers license to visit clients
* Full working rights in Australia (PR or Citizen)
