About The Role
The Maintenance Planner is a Full-Time position, working at our Gyprock Wetherill Park Factory. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will manage and develop the preventative maintenance plan, resources including materials and labour and management of the CMMS.
In This Role You Will
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with permit issuing procedures
Lead weekly planning of maintenance activities (electrical and mechanical trades)
Manage preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance programs
Oversee contract management related to maintenance operations
Ensure availability of materials and spare parts for scheduled works
Maintain and improve the site's condition monitoring program
Input and manage maintenance data in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
What You Bring To The Role
Proven experience in maintenance with solid mechanical knowledge (no formal qualifications required)
Contract management experience
Confined space training.
Forklift license and working at heights certification (desirable)
Experience with SAP
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Safety-focused, proficient in MS Word & Excel, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and decisive
Worked within engineering (maintenance, industrial, services.) in a manufacturing environment
Personnel Supervisory experience of contractors or other 3rd parties.
Self-managed defined KPIs / objectives and proactively tracked and achieved them.
Fixed Assets Maintenance responsibilities, including maintenance, preventive maintenance planning and execution.
